Privacy Notice
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. Who we are
PricePulse is operated by Edgars Lakstīgala ("we", "us"), based in Latvia, European Union. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: support@prizeee.com.
2. Data we collect and why
- Account data (name if provided, email address, login credentials, Google account identifier if you sign in with Google) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Service data (product URLs you track, price history, alert settings) — to provide the monitoring service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Usage and technical data (log data, device identifiers, IP address) — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing communications, where you opt in. Legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
3. Who we share data with
- Hosting, database, and email service providers acting as our processors;
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payments, invoicing, subscription management, and tax compliance;
- Professional advisers such as legal and accounting providers;
- Public authorities where required by law.
4. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the EEA. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses as safeguards.
5. Retention
We keep account and service data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law (for example accounting records). After that the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at support@prizeee.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database isolation so each account can only reach its own data.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the service may not function without the essential ones.
